Description

Crimean pine is an ornamental coniferous tree with a dense, broadly ovoid crown. Heat-resistant and drought-resistant. A tree 20-30 (up to 45) m high. The crown is wide, pyramidal, in older trees it is flat, umbrella-shaped. The branches are horizontal, with shoots bent upwards. Prefers calcareous soils, but also grows on crushed stone and sandy soils. Lives 500-600 years.
