Description

Thuja orientalis (lat. Thuja orientalis) is an evergreen coniferous tree of the Cypress family. Comes from western China, northeast Japan, Korea. Distributed in mixed forests of China, Japan, in the east of Russia, in Ukraine. Lives in natural conditions for more than 1000 years, in culture – 150-200 years. Reaches a height of 10-18 m, crown diameter – 8-11 m. The needles are 1-3 mm long, green-yellow or light green in summer, turning brown in winter and becoming reddish-brown.
